Case study 05

Galaxia Estates

Estate agency, Limassol, Cyprus

Galaxia Estate Agencies has sold, let and managed property in Cyprus since 1977. The site is a searchable property portal: sales, rentals and new developments running off the same inventory, filtered by type, town, bedroom count and price.

The business

An estate agency operating across Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca, Nicosia and Famagusta, handling residential and commercial sales, rentals, property management, marketing for sellers and legal guidance for buyers.

What the site has to do

A property site lives or dies on whether a visitor can get from the home page to the six listings that match them. Buyers and renters want different things from the same inventory, price bands that make sense for a monthly rent are meaningless for a purchase, and a new development is not a listing at all but a project with its own story. One flat search across all three would return noise, so the search is split by intent and each track filters on what that audience actually narrows by.

What we built

Two search interfaces over one inventory, filtering on property type, location down to neighbourhood level, bedroom count and price bands calibrated separately for sale and for rent. New developments get their own section, presented as projects rather than as listings. Every listing ends at the agency rather than a generic form, because in this business the enquiry is the product.

Everything above is on the live site.
